AP Shaw United Methodist Church – Parking Lot Expansion; Washington, DC –DM&C Engineering is providing construction site plans to include the expansion of the church’s parking lot, a covered pavilion area, & a children’s play area.  We will also act on behalf of the church as a construction liaison and assist wherever requested; to make the construction process as smooth as possible.

South Riding Proprietary Maintenance Facility – Conceptual Plan; South Riding, VA – DM&C Engineering met with the client to determine the desired qualities in a proposed Maintenance Facility that would provide the proprietary a location to store equipment and maintenance vehicles.  We created a 3-Dimensional conceptual plan for the proprietary’s use in presentations to the HOA Board, Toll Brothers, & the county during the approval process to build the facility.  This was completed in October 2009.

Christ Chapel Church – Sediment Basin Design; Manassas, VA – DM&C Engineering designed a sediment basin that collected the run-off from a 3 acre site for the erosion & sediment controls plan.  This was for a project that included a sports field and an expansion to the church building.  This work was completed in May 2010.

Lockheed Martin Facility – Culvert Design for Drainage Issue; Manassas, VA - DM&C Engineering completed the survey of the Lockheed Martin Facility five acres site and culvert drainage area & performed drainage computations for an improved culvert design.  With a design that realigned and resized the proposed culverts vs. the existing culverts, flooding of the road was eliminated.  DM&C Engineering created construction drawings for the installation of the new culverts.  We also acted as liaison for construction implementation and coordination. Design & construction were completed in January 2008.

Mitchell & Best Homebuilders - Engineering services for multiple subdivisions; Virginia and Maryland - DM&C Engineering provides preliminary grading and drainage plans to assist in locating the best proposed house and driveway locations on subdivision sites.  In addition, DM&C Engineering prepares the final grading plans in accordance with stringent county requirements that are then used to obtain building permits for the construction of residential homes in multiple Virginia and Maryland subdivisions. 

Mafraq Interchange Retaining Walls; Dubai, U.A.E –Designed MSE concrete panel retaining walls for a multi-billion dollar interchange project connecting Dubai and Abu Dabi, U.A.E.  We provided both horizontal and vertical design and layout for terraced retaining walls stretching 500 meters in length and 15 meters in height.
